About the art & the Artist

Shweta Wagaralkar (she/her) is a Mumbai-based queer artist who founded SWILK Works, an umbrella under which she offers statement clothing, original art and odd objects that ask more questions than they answer. 

She plays around with linocut printing to make clothing that are more often than not, great conversation starters. Deep thoughts make way to create surreal and abstract art using pastels. You'll also see her make odd pieces with clay when whimsy strikes.
